The Nobody’s Perfect Writing Contest started in April 2012 to encourage the youth to honor their mothers (or primary caretakers) using creative writing to express their gratitude. For our first Nobody’s Perfect Writing Contest, The Dreamville Foundation chose to partner with The Fayetteville Urban Ministries’ Find-A-Friend Program.

Ten winners were selected to attend our Inaugural Mother’s Day Brunch along with their mothers and family members. Winners received surprise giveaways ranging from gift certificates to beauty products and Roc Nation Skull Candy Headphones.
